POWERS OF ATTORNEY

People are living longer. This is a fact. With this comes the necessity to plan ahead so that you can manage your affairs and assets. You may either beĀ  considering what the best plan would be to provide for your future or that of an elderly relative who requires assistance. Whether it be advice on Inheritance Tax, the family home as it relates to care costs, Powers of Attorney or Nursing Homes we can guide you.

There are two types of Power of Attorney. There are those that can be used to cover temporary situations where you are not available to sign and there are Continuing and Welfare Powers of Attorney which mean you can have a family member or friend control your finances and make important decisions regarding your welfare when due to physical or mental incapacity you are no longer able to do so. Again it may be for you or it may be for an elderly relative. Whichever the case we can advise accordingly.
